Wheelchair Access:
There is a step-free entrance to the LGI office only at 130 Dryburgh Street (via a temporary ramp).

Find the ramped entrance into the dance studios at 41 Little Dryburgh Street South.
– Ramped entrance directly into Studio Two. Gradient = 1:12.
– Lowered keypad and intercom 90cm from the ground.
– Please note: the curb cut is bordered by cobblestones and has a lip of around one inch. You can request a temporary ramp from us to get over the curb cut.

WXYZ Studios

Featuring two studio spaces purpose-designed for dance, WXYZ Studios can accommodate rehearsals, workshops, dance classes, talks, forums and informal showings. All hirers have access to on-site kitchen facilities, change rooms with showers and high-speed wifi.

WXYZ Studios also has a range of creative and career development resources available to the dance community, including a dedicated hot desk and community noticeboard.

The studio spaces are wheelchair accessible with a ramped entrance at 41 Little Dryburgh St South. There is an accessible toilet and shower and step-free access between studios, kitchen and change rooms. Read more in our Accessibility Guide, [click here to open] or get in touch.

The venue is available for private and commercial hires too. The studios easily transform into stunning event spaces for events with up to 250 people.

Chloe Munro Studio
– Hires from $90/hr

Studio Two
– Hires from $78/hr

– All prices inclusive of GST
– All hires are individually quoted; for artist pricing please contact the office.
– Minimum hire period = 3 hours

Conditions of Hire

– All hirers must sign a WXYZ Studio Hire Agreement, provided at time of booking.

– All hirers must have public liability insurance and provide relevant documentation by request to LGI.

– The Conditions of Hire document lists the terms of use for all hirers at WXYZ Studios. This will be provided at point of booking and signing the Hire Agreement confirms acceptance of all conditions.

BY CAR / PARKING
Limited on-street and time-limited car parking available, ranging from 15 minutes to 4 hours.

Some all day parking available in front of WXYZ Studios and within five minutes of our front entrance on Munster Terrace (always check on-street signage).

There is one dedicated parking space for disability permit holders adjacent to the ramped entrance into WXYZ Studios. This is located at 41 Little Dryburgh Street South. More information and image here.

BY TAXI / DROP OFF LOCATIONS
The front entrance of WXYZ Studios is at 130 Dryburgh Street. Taxis can easily find a place for safe drop off within 50m of this entrance. This is a stepped entrance and has an internal staircase to reach the studios.

The wheelchair accessible entrance to WXYZ Studios is at 41 Little Dryburgh Street South. There is space with a curb cut directly in front of this entrance (the double white doors with small white sign to their left) for a taxi to safely drop off.

Public bike racks are available in front of WXYZ Studios on Dryburgh Street. There are additional bike racks on Little Dryburgh Street South and the surrounding streets.
