Over the next couple of months we have a huge amount of activity overseas in addition to Lucy’s work on Macbeth at the Young Vic.

UNTRAINED - Australian contemporary dance focus in Germany
We have toured Untrained internationally since 2010 - In October Untrained will have its German premiere at Theater im Pfalzbau in Ludwigshafen with dancers Lee Serle and Alisdair Macindoe and “Untrained” performers - Jake Shackleton, Michael Dunbar. Other Australian companies and independent artists being showcased include ADT, Sydney Dance Company, Marrugeku and Stephanie Lake/Chunky Move.

BLACK BOX - Season at Théåtre de la Ville, Paris - Feb 2016
In May 2013 Lucy Guerin was commissioned by Ballet de l’Opera de Lyon to make Black Box, which is now being re-mounted in February 2016 at prestigious Parisian venue Théåtre de la Ville . The work will be performed by the Ballet de l’Opera de Lyon company in a bill with three other choreographers: Emanuel Gat, Tania Carvalho and William Forsythe.

WEATHER - Re-mount in Malmö, Sweden - March 2016
Swedish contemporary dance company Skånes Dansteater (Malmö) is re-mounting Lucy Guerin Inc’s Weather. Lee Serle (Australian choreographer and Weather dancer) will be going on behalf of Lucy Guerin Inc to Sweden this October to teach the dancers the work, then Lucy will oversee the final remount period in Feb/March 2016. The work will premiere in Malmö on 19 March 2016, then tour Sweden. Weather will be part of a double bill ABOVE AND BELOW, alongside a new work by Australian choreographer Antony Hamilton.

RAMBERT COMMISSION - premiere at Sadler’s Wells London
Lucy will develop a new piece for the Rambert company in London during April/May 2016 with a premiere at Sadler’s Wells in London, May 2016. The piece will take Lucy’s experience working on Macbeth as inspiration for the new work.
