LGI’s fully vaccinated team is busy planning for the safe resumption of activities at WXYZ Studios, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors once we are safely permitted to do so. Our intention is to fully return to in-person activity as soon as possible, but in the meantime, we will continue to offer a selection of online activities to help keep our community moving.

The health and wellbeing of LGI’s community is at the centre of all our COVID-related decision making. We continue to adhere to Victorian Government health advice and directives, and our COVIDSafe requirements - including full vaccination of anyone entering WXYZ Studios - align to these directions. We anticipate that when we fully reopen, vaccination exemptions will only apply for those with a valid reason, as determined by public health orders.

Along with our peers across the sector, we await further advice from the Victorian Government regarding implementation plans to support vaccine mandates, along with advice related to reopening procedures. We will provide detailed information as soon as possible about how to plan for your COVID Safe visit to WXYZ Studios and look forward to bringing the vibrancy of our live artform back to the community.

We appreciate your patience during this challenging time, and assure you that we are working as swiftly and efficiently as possible to ensure that we are ready to reopen in a safe and responsible way.

If you’d like to discuss any aspect of your return to the studios, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Executive Producer, Brendan O’Connell or anyone else in the team.

In the meantime, we encourage everyone to play their part in the collective effort to support the reopening of Victoria’s cultural and creative venues and events - and the best way to do that is to book in for a vaccine. If you can, getting vaccinated as soon as possible is critical to getting dancers back into the studio and moving again.

To book a vaccination through state-run centres - or to see links for how to book at your local GP or pharmacy - visit the Victorian Coronavirus website.
