Lucy Guerin Inc is preparing to farewell Senior Producer Estelle Conley, who will leave the company in April to take up an exciting new role at RMIT as Engagement Coordinator and Event Producer.

Estelle joined LGI in July 2021 and, over the past 4.5 years, has played a central role in the life of the company. During her time with LGI, she has helped strengthen and expand our studio programs, produced company projects with great skill and care, and supported the ongoing development of our diversity and accessibility work.

Estelle has also been an exceptional colleague - thoughtful, capable, generous, and deeply respected by the LGI team and the broader dance community. Her contribution to the company has been immense, and we are deeply grateful for all that she has brought to LGI during her time with us.

While we will be very sorry to see Estelle go, this is a wonderful opportunity, and one that reflects the calibre of her contribution and leadership. We congratulate her on this next step and wish her every success in the role ahead.

Estelle’s final day at LGI will be Sunday 19 April, as part of Out of Bounds.

Seeking our next Senior Producer

As we prepare for this transition, LGI is now seeking a new Senior Producer to join the company. This is a vital role within a small and highly collaborative team, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of contemporary dance in Melbourne and beyond.

Working closely with the Executive Director, Artistic Director, artists, dancers and the broader dance community, the Senior Producer leads the day-to-day producing of new LGI works and plays a key role in planning and delivering LGI’s sector-focused programs at WXYZ Studios. These include PIECES, Out of Bounds, First Nations Resident, and the Naarm/Solo Dance Exchange - programs that support the development of new dance works, skills development, dialogue and critical thinking across the sector.
