We’re thrilled to announce that choreographer and dance artist Tra Mi Dinh has been selected as Lucy Guerin Inc’s Resident Director for 2026.
Created for choreographers approaching mid-career, this year-long program offers an opportunity to develop new work with dedicated support while gaining invaluable insight into the role of an Artistic Director within a small contemporary dance company.
About the appointment, Tra Mi said:
“It’s an immense honour to be named the incoming Resident Director at Lucy Guerin Inc for 2026. Studio time is a precious gift, and to receive it alongside guidance and support from Lucy and the LGI team is truly incredible. As a dancer, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing Lucy’s choreographic world from the inside. Now, I look forward to gaining deeper insight into the behind-the-scenes action required to sustain and celebrate a long career led by dance. I can’t wait to enrich and expand my artistic practice in this new role.”
Congratulations, Tra Mi!
