We are delighted to announce Rebecca Jensen as Lucy Guerin Inc’s Resident Director for 2023.

This year-long program was created for choreographers approaching mid-career — supporting their specific goals and interests as they look to take the next step as an artist, and assisting them to develop the skills required to become an Artistic Director. These skills are distinct from those of a choreographer, but essential for the successful running of a dance company or other organisational structure.

About the appointment, Rebecca Jensen said, “this exciting opportunity will support me to dive into a period of creation and skills development, alongside reflecting upon and directing my expanding choreographic practice. Lucy Guerin Inc has been such a support for me throughout my young dance career, I look forward to deepening this relationship as I spend time with the company as Resident Director 2023.”

We look forward to having Rebecca at WXYZ Studios throughout 2023!
