Lucy Guerin Inc (LGI) engages in an inspiring and innovative exploration of contemporary dance that resonates within Australian culture and the wider global community. It makes a leading contribution to the cultural life of Melbourne and beyond through its highly acclaimed productions. It supports risk and innovation as a means of extending dance as an art form to stimulate audiences to experience uncommon perceptions of their world and themselves.
We’re searching for an exemplary arts professional who can lead the delivery of our strategic business, cultural and artistic objectives and who recognises and values the important contribution that dance makes to contemporary performing arts. We want an exceptionally motivated, effective, committed, influential and collaborative person to work passionately with us to achieve our goals and aspirations.
The Executive Producer works closely with the Artistic Director, Board, staff, choreographers and dancers of LGI across all aspects of the organisation’s creative output and business operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company and sustaining its business environment, including stakeholder and relationship management, touring and presenting, office management, administration, fundraising, governance, reporting and compliance.
