Class today is Contemporary Dance w/ Gary Lang
—
The aim of this class is to embody fear—not only as a shadow that restricts us, but as an energy that can ignite movement, generate awareness and reveal truth. This class will trace the edges of Gary Lang’s work, presented at DanceX this October, The Other Side of Me—dancers will investigate how fear shapes movement, presence, and expression, turning instinct into performance.
This class will include a warm-up of Long Grass Yoga, followed by Long Grass Ballet and may include partnering and strength work.
Gary’s class aims to be accessible to all bodies present.
