Class today is Contemporary Dance w/ Rachel Coulson

Rachel’s class will provide tools that assist dancers in their individual practice. This class focuses on the ebb and flow of physiological processes, specifically breath, use of weight, building muscular strength, and deepening proprioceptive awareness.

The class will include a led warm up, improvisational experimentation, standing, balancing, and floor skill development, and extended phrase material.

This class may also draw upon various yoga methodologies, as well as ideas that Rachel is exploring in her own choreographic practice.

This class is suitable for trained dancers.
