Today’s class is Klein Technique w/ Alice Heyward

Klein Technique™ focuses on moving from our deepest structural and energetic tissue, the bone, and the connections at the level of the bones. We work on the muscles of deep postural support with a body-felt understanding of how these muscles bring the bones into alignment, a place of connectedness, which leads to true power and efficiency of movement. Our goal is to teach movement from the individual perspective of internal knowing and understanding. Students of all levels of practice in Klein Technique™ will gain insight into their movement patterns and habits and gain a greater internal understanding of their bodies. Klein Technique™ works on the intersectionality of bodywork and virtuosic dance technique. Focusing on the innate intelligence of the body and the muscles of deep postural support, the psoas, the hamstrings, the pelvic floor and the 6 external rotators, we work on grounding and connecting the body on the level of the bone. The goal of Klein Technique™ is to develop and maximise each person’s individual potential as a dancer and mover while decreasing the possibility of injury.

Klein Technique™ allows people of all backgrounds and experience to practice.
