Presented by Lucy Guerin Inc, LIVENESS is an exciting new program for the Melbourne dance community to come together and experience improvisational movement in a fun and generous environment.
Rebecca Jensen and Marcus McKenzie will guide participants through a warm up and series of structured tasks, working with the body and the voice. Then the studio space will transform into a platform for relaxed improvisational exploration—with dancers responding to tasks, the environment and each other.
LIVENESS is open to all dancers. Observers are also welcome to attend and are encouraged to come from 7.30pm.
At the end of the session everyone is invited to stay back for the after-party, with drinks and yummy refreshments provided.
