This is a square, a stage, a world, and life. In , the two dancers, one clothed and one naked, are framed by the ever-dividing and shrinking space and time. To the percussive music reminiscent of lively Korean traditional rhythms, the two performers dance in unison before conflicting and reconciling with each other. Nature vs civilization? Art vs language? Community vs society? The choreographer welcomes all interpretations, suggesting that both aspects may be inherent to humanity. lulls the audience into this aesthetic space of stage and then shoves back into the rude reality. The consistently engaging artist’s is a meditation that reflects the dilemmas of negotiating with oneself and others in a world of increased pressure and reduced resources.
