Join Ingrid Weisfelt for this four-class series in the Feldenkrais Method, designed for dancers.
About the series
In the Feldenkrais Method, we explore novel connections between our movement sensation and the image of each minute component of the movement in our consciousness.
Bringing cognisance to the habitual through curiosity, exploration and attention, this practice provides an opportunity for expanding one’s self image and providing tools for self-care. Akin to movement meditation, this profound somatic practice can deepen a dancer’s embodied wisdom and provide a new perspective on learning how to learn about your body and yourself.
Attendance at all four sessions is requested. Each session includes a 45-minute led practice followed by an opportunity for a discussion about that session’s focus area.
