Morning Class today is Yoga w/ Alex Dobson
Alex’s class encourages participants to prepare their bodies and minds for a dynamic and embodied movement practice. The class is designed to be challenging, but with many variations and props available to suit each individual. Class will move through a dynamic warm-up, into sun salutations and a vinyasa flow, incorporating warming long holds and then dynamic dance-like transitions. The class will end with longer held postures which cool-down into Savasana. This class may include a mixture of classical yoga sequences such as Sun Salutations A and B, and also more contemporary variations of postures to incorporate dance-related knowledge or to tailor stretches to individuals.

This class is suitable for people with experience in body movement practice. Experience in yoga is not necessary.

Alex (they/she) is a Narrm based dancer and yoga teacher. They are passionate about sharing their many movement practices. They encourage students to find freedom, expression, and joy in their movement, through self-care, acceptance and awareness. Their yoga practice cultivates inward focus, functional movement, and develops a balanced steady and easeful movement/practice (Sthira Sukham).
