Class today is Yoga w/ Shardae Matthews

In this class you’ll find meditative movement and align your energy to allow yourself time to move with conscious kindness. Shardae’s yoga class will begin with pranayama/breath work and cleansing processes, before moving through traditional Surya Namaskar/Sun Salutations Leading into Vinyasa flow. Connecting breath and body, progressing through postures to build heat within the body and clarity in the mind. You will cultivate stability and strength, while focusing on alignment, to activate and promote physical and mental health. The class will end in guided relaxation and Savasana.

Suitable for all and created for movers. Postures can be altered to suit the individual. Various levels of difficulty can be offered.

About Shardae Matthews
Shardae has been practicing yoga for 10 years, finding it a place of comfort and complimenting her dance career. She completed her yoga teacher training in India at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. Here she learned traditional yoga techniques, including pranayama, shudhi kriya, asana, yoga nidra and meditation. She was immersed in the yogic lifestyle and continues this now back in Australia. Shardae has taught yoga for University of Melbourne, Warrandyte High School, Ballet Master Classes Croatia and for The Ruse State Opera Ballet. Shardae teaches with calm encouragement and enthusiasm.
