Does the sense of things survive the transition from one place to another?
In spite of globalisation, there are intriguing gaps between people, art forms and place. Actors dance and dancers tell us their stories in a show which flows seamlessly from abstract dance to literal text.
Two actors from Joensuu City Theatre and two dancers from Routa Company collaborated with Lucy Guerin and composer Robin Fox to produce I’m Trying to Tell You - a new work examining how meaning appears and disappears as it traverses theatre and dance and translation from one language to another.
