The Dark Chorus recalls the roots of ancient theatre where the chorus bears witness to the drama and tragedy of humanity.

Through the tensions of binaries: light and dark; past and present; motion and stillness; sound and silence, The Dark Chorus reaches deep into history to create something entirely of the now.

Both the voice of the people and of your most intimate thoughts, this dramatic chorus is a moving sculpture of bodies and concepts made flesh.

Winner of 2017 Australian Dance Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography (Lucy Guerin) and Outstanding Performance by a Male Dancer (Benjamin Hancock).
