Tomorrow inhabits the dark and dangerous world of Macbeth.
Building on the recent landmark production of the play, co-directed by Carrie Carcknell and Lucy Guerin, this dance work gives physical life to the psychological conflict that led a man to murder.
Lucy Guerin was commissioned by Rambert to make a new dance work for the company, following on from the theatre production of Macbeth, which premiered at the Young Vic 2015.
Tomorrow features a score by composer, sound and multimedia artist Scanner (Robin Rimbaud), design by Conor Murphy and lighting by Lee Curran.
Tomorrow is part of BBC Shakespeare Lives and can be viewed on the BBC’s website – including a video of the work in its entirety.
Commissioned by Rambert
Premiered at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London.
